Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. We keep things simple: we collect as little as possible, and we don't sell your data.

1. What we collect

• Quiz progress (XP, level, streak) is stored in your own browser (localStorage) and, if you continue on another device later, may be synced to our database against an anonymous progress id.
• If you sign in with Google: we receive your Google account id and email so we can keep your session, apply the daily AI limit, and (if you subscribe) recognise you as a member.
• If you subscribe: Stripe collects your payment details. We receive your billing email and Stripe customer ID — we do not see or store your card number.
• AI explainer messages you send are processed to retrieve relevant study notes and generate an answer. Messages are logged briefly for abuse/quality purposes and not sold.

2. Cookies

We use two first-party HttpOnly cookies: resexam_sess (signed-in session after Google) and resexam_ent (Premium entitlement after Stripe). We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.

3. How we use data

We use your data only to provide the service, secure subscriptions, enforce daily AI limits, and improve content. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

4. Third parties

• Google — optional sign-in (OAuth).
• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — hosting and edge delivery (this site runs on Cloudflare Workers).
• Our AI provider — processes chat messages to produce answers.

5. Retention

Chat logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for quality and abuse prevention. Stripe retains transaction records as required by law. You can sign out at any time; that clears the session cookie.

6. Your rights

You can delete your browser-stored progress anytime by clearing site data. For subscription, account, or PDPA requests, email us and we will help.
